Oral cancer can be cured by detecting it at an early stage and it can spread to a fatal condition if we avoid it ourselves. A series of awareness programs on oral cancer prevention and early detection were conducted by school dental therapists in the Colombo district throughout the month of December. For this, organizations with high-risk individuals such as municipal councils, local councils, police/army, depots, employees of postal services were selected.
